Summary

In this activity we learned that everything is connected somehow in the networking world. We learned mostly about 3 types of networking which are Imput/output, network application, and operating systems. It was cool to find out what the things we use in the normal day are actually in the technology world and how they work.

Vocab: The OSI Layers

physical-layer that is the actual physical medium through which the data is transferred.
data link-layer that provides for data transfer across the physical link.
networking-layer that gives connectivity and path selection between two systems.
transport- layer that organizes, segments and reassembles data into the data stream.
